1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Kainuwa Classroom, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kainuwa Software Engineering. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use this platform.
2. User Eligibility & Identity
Users must provide accurate registration details. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that provide false information. In compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, users participating in paid classes may be required to undergo basic identity verification.
3. Prohibited Use (Cybercrimes Act)
In accordance with the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc.) Act 2015, you agree not to:
- Engage in "Phishing" or any attempt to obtain sensitive information from other users.
- Distribute malicious software or attempt to gain unauthorized access to platform servers.
- Use the platform for any fraudulent financial activities or money laundering.
4. Payments & Escrow
For paid classes, Kainuwa Classroom utilizes a secure Escrow system to protect both students and teachers. Funds are held in escrow and released only upon completion of the class or as per the agreed schedule. Disputes regarding payments will be resolved through our internal mediation process.
5. Intellectual Property
All platform design, code, and original educational materials are the property of Kainuwa Software Engineering. Teachers retain the copyright to their specific lecture content but grant Kainuwa Classroom a non-exclusive license to host and distribute it to enrolled students.
6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through Mediation in Nigeria. If mediation fails, the matter shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
